if you like bebel gilberto you should check out lisa ekdahl. swedish jazz. good stuff. her voice is a mix of nina persson and bebel. w/ a sort of latin meets billie holiday sound. sheesh, i just think of all the good music i've been missing out on because i've only listened to american music! sheesh, sheesh
